Reading List _ Quilt Squares

This reading list is inspired by my mother's antique quilt collection as well as my admiration for barn quilts, which I regularly observe when driving country roads around my home in Blacksburg, VA. I started the project during a period when I was having trouble carving out large blocks of uninterrupted time in the studio. It represents a desire to work on something ambitious in scale incrementally. The small format facilitates portability and the medium of ballpoint encourages me to work more rapidly and with less fastidiousness than I typically might in graphite.
